Parkland Students in Newark
Two Parkland Students (wearing MFOL Sweatshirts to the left) visiting Newark, just weeks after the mass murder to discuss best practices, and how to get other students involved in the political process. Student leaders from each of The City's High Schools attended, and I was instrumental in getting student leaders from neighboring suburbs to attend as well. The press was not allowed in the room and I was only 1 of 3 adults to witness this closed door meeting.
